• Middle Python Developer

  We are looking for a Middle Python Developer to be part of a team which is responsible for the
  development of pre-integrated adaptable solution consisting of several open source and customer
  SW.

  Automates software delivery for products in 4G, 5G, OSS/BSS domains. Used as a tool for Service
  Delivery and Product for customer multi-vendor CI/CD automation

  Tasks

  • Collaborate with other engineers, tech leads, and business stakeholders on implementing new
    product
    features and improvements to existing functionality with a customer-centric mindset
    Break down features and technical challenges into small user stories in collaboration with other
    team members, architects, and designers.
  • Drive the user story implementation to the resolution by writing excellent documentation and
    automated tests.
  • Wear the Security Engineer hat under all circumstances.
  • Challenge Architects and Designers during solution design.
  • Be part of the development team to implement product features while ensuring scalability,
    managing
    dependencies, and adhering to business and non-functional requirements.
  • Write solid and stable software that integrates with interfaces of other applications in the
    Ericsson product ecosystem.
  • Support the CICD Teams to identify and resolve operational issues and unblock the code merge.
  • Ensure the code is consistent with the product scope and vision.
  • Participate in the Communities of Practice and improve the entire product development life
    cycle.
  • Ready and open to be challenged and challenge other solutions at all times.

  Requirements

  • Experience in positions where Software Development is part of your daily routine.
  • A sharp understanding of data structures, object-oriented programming, and testing
    methodologies.
  • Familiar with writing documentation and presenting your solution to other technical people.
  • Analytical skills to break down problems, decompose complexity, and implement small
    incremental
    solutions.
  • At least 2 Years with Python programming language.
  • Solid experience with Linux.
  • Familiar with CICD, GIT, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development, JIRA.
  • Sound knowledge of REST API and Asynchronous services.
  • Working proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized applications.

  Your Main Activities Are

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Python code

  What will your main responsibilities be?

  • Work with our in-house and external teams (UX designers, Content, Campaigning, and Technology) to craft the best solution together. Also being able to work independently when needed.
  • Create high-quality persuasive designs for new functionalities on all UFS platforms that improve the experience, increase conversion and ultimately drive sales.
  • Create and update style guides for the different platforms we support.
  • Have the mentality of validation. User testing, AB-testing, and continuous optimisation of designs to validate assumptions.
  • Present visual designs to team and management with pride and rationale. Also able to challenge stakeholders with your vision and ideas.
  • Being the brand guardian is crucial when working within a big cross-functional digital team.
  • Collaborate closely with conversion specialists and developers and incorporate feedback rapidly.
  • Be an ambassador of User Experience and design throughout the company.

  Key Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of relevant working experience as a Visual Designer.
  • Experience working closely with brand and content teams for consistency on all platforms.
  • E-commerce and conversion designs experience.
  • Experience in working within a multinational team on both global and local scales to deliver designs/solutions.
  • Great knowledge of Sketch and Adobe Suite. You’re also familiar with prototyping tools like Invision and handover tools like Zeplin.
  • Knowledge of both website and apps design principles.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining style guides within design systems.
  • Knowledge of Scrum and an agile way of working.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent English, verbal & written.
  • Having a strong portfolio of relevant work is crucial for review.

  Desirable

  • Business to Business experience.
  • Experience with AB-testing
  • Understanding of UX process in general.
  • Having animation skills is a big plus. After effects is sufficient.
